The 2008 FloodThe flood of 2008 seriously effected our entire community, including destroying the Iowa City Bocce courts. The club was not able to play during 2008 and 2009 but we are looking to have a SUPER 2010 season.

We had four public Bocce Courts in City Park before the 2008 flood,
Club President Ron Grassi hopes that the courts will be replaced soon so that we might get league play going this Spring. Please check with Ron if you are interested in joining the club and playing this year. You can contact Ron at: The Iowa City Bocce Club was formed on April 8, 2006, with Ron Grassi as President. The Executive Board of the club includes Bruce Walker, Andy Millson, Darlene Ohlshansky, Elizabeth Meyer, Nick Colangelo, and Ron Grassi. Dues were set at $10 per person, with checks and money orders made out to the Iowa City Bocce Club, and mailed to Ron Grassi, 713 Fifth Avenue Place, Coralville, Iowa 52241. We welcome any and all new members. The Iowa City Bocce Club supplies the bocce sets for league play. There is no cost to participate in league play on a weekly basis.
